Spelling Bee were a kid had to spell negus. According to Webster the word is a title in Ge'ez, Tigrinya, Tigre and Amharic, used for a King and at times also a vassal ruler in pre-1974 Ethiopia and pre-1890 Eritrea. Grant it the word has a cool meaning but when you say it aloud well it just comes off wrong. I just want to know who was the one stuck on stupid that decided this word should be in the competition.
